The Social Context Reasoning Test measures how effectively a person perceives and interprets social cues in everyday and workplace settings. It captures a candidate’s ability to “read between the lines,” sense conflict or tension, and understand how relationships and group dynamics influence outcomes.

Candidates are shown 20 sets of four images, each representing a social interaction. The images appear in random order, and the candidate’s task is to rearrange them into a sequence that forms a clear, logical story. A practice question is provided at the start to familiarise candidates with the task. The test is timed at 11 minutes, with increasing difficulty as it progresses.
